NEGOTIATIONS ON WAGE
NAO: THE SPEECH OF THE METHOD
On Wednesday 28 April, as part of wage negotiations, the Inter-NR decided to "keep up the pressure but to postpone the day of action earlier than May 4. This date corresponded indeed to the resumption of negotiations on national indices and the introduction of mandatory annual negotiations (NAO) in our company.
Today, the Paris negotiations led to a proposal by the owners of SPQR upgrading point of 0.70% on 1 April, the payment of a premium of 200 euros in June crude and the promise of a new meeting in mid-June. A
NR, the first meeting produced no evidence NAO again. The direction was satisfied to make an inventory of the economic situation of the newspaper and the group NR. She then set the "method" used for the next three negotiation meetings (to take place on 11, 18 and 27 May). No
costed proposal from the Executive. And no more commitment to the implementation of an eventual national agreement on real wages NR. "We will do what the law requires us to do and, above all, what we will be able to do," commented Nicolas Corneau simply.
After a recess, union delegates in attendance nevertheless required to submit the claims of different categories of staff. Workers and employees claim the catch of 3.20% due from 2005 to 2009, and the application of national agreements on real wages in the NR. They also claim the recovery of the 5 days off abandoned in favor of the team dedicated DRLs (now disbanded). After recalling that the delay will reach 7.70% wage end of 2010 for their category, journalists, taking into account the situation of the company, claiming a catch of at least 4%, the implementation of agreements on real wages and recovery RTT days left for NRD (8 in this category). Executives, meanwhile, require a 1% increase in real wages subject to no other element is questioned (RTT, HNP, holidays ...).
