Mykulichin School, located just steps from our hostel, is also a boarding school that is open all year for children with minor delays mentally. These delays are due to alcohol consumption during pregnancy by their mothers. To provide training to these children, the school has a sewing workshop and a carpentry shop that we visit on April 14. The school offers so these disadvantaged children the opportunity to have a professional training: Kids are up to their 16 years in school after 2 years they continue their training within a company and become graduates and can work in factories and with the best craftsmen. Children are very friendly and we spent the afternoon to play and interact with them. So we visited the sewing and carpentry installed for the children and we found that these facilities were in very poor condition. By helping this institution, we could contribute to improving the social and professional reintegration of children.
We are also going for the first time on a typical market of Ukraine.
