For our last day of sightseeing, we went to an elementary school in a sanatorium in Yaremtshe, a town 20 km from Mykulichin in the Carpathians. We met children who have done a great host. This school is connected to a college of high reputation in Ukraine and that we could visit. The primary school does not have its own canteen and eat so the children in their classrooms, the canteen in the college which is located 500m from the school.
The sanatorium, which we already saw last year, saw one of its buildings destroyed by fire in October 2009. Some buildings were completely renovated and the sanatorium has an indoor gymnasium for children. Hospitalized children in sanatorium come from all over Ukraine to cure respiratory diseases (asthma, tuberculosis ...). Children seem to be very well supervised.
